Mechanics are also available at the lunch stops and many other places along the road.
These bikes (and their riders) have always helped keep us safe. If you notice any reckless driving give them a "thumbs down" and tell them about it.
Ambulances are on course all day in case of injuries or medical problems. They also carry water. Give them a "thumbs down" if you have a problem.
Injured or exhausted cyclists and their bikes are sagged into camp. Just give the sag van a "thumbs down".
At the top of the tallest mountain each day perches the Cycle Oregon ham radio net control. This was on Steens Mountain on Cycle Oregon 14 (elevation around 10,000 feet). Notice the hike they have down to the blue room! They handle all of the communication for each Cycle Oregon.
