Nyssa to Ironside

Westward Ho!

As the sun began to peer over the horizon, we headed out of town, dipped our wheels in the mighty Snake River, and then turned west - a direction we would come to know well.

Excitement was in the air as we rode across farmland toward the climb up to Keeney Pass. Cresting the summit we had a great downhill into the town of Vale, and a visit to the ODS Rest Stop for calories.

After tanking up, we rode off toward lunch at Willow Creek School, all the while noticing how the countryside was shifting from farming to ranching.
After a great lunch to power us on we pedaled off toward the town of Brogan and then began the climb up to the Brogan Summit.

Summiting was great, but there was no downhill for this one. Instead we wheeled into our Ironside home and pitched our tents on a cattle ranch. The stars that night were truly incredible!
